The java software used for each and every application development, but it is becoming more popular for development of distributed application by making use of client-server architecture.
The Java software developed by Sun-Micro System in USA ( Handled over by Oracle Corporation) by the person called “James Gosling” (Father of Java).
The Java Software started if development in the early of the year 1990 and released in the middle of the year 1991 as the name of “OAK” ( It is one of the original name of Java and Scientifically it is one of the free name _ and it had taken 10 Months to Develop.
The OAK software was popular for developing device level software such as software for Electronic devices, Mechanical devices and Automobile devices and it was not popular for developing distributed applications and organizational applications. This is one of the industry programmers Opinion.
In Later days the OAK software Re-Engineered by Sun-Micro System developers and released to the real industry in the year 1995, on the name of “JAVA” ( Scientifically it is one of the coffe shield name).
The Java software is the real industry is available in 3 categories. They are
- J2SE (Java 2 Standard Edition)
- J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition)
- J2ME (Java 2 Micro/Mobile Edition)
In the real industry T2SE is used for developing client side application, J2EE is used for developing Server-Side Application and J2ME is used for developing Micro/Mobile/Wireless Applications.
